If you want improvement at your business, you must be willing to make changes.
When I say that small, inexpensive improvements aggregate to BIG results, I mean it. Notice the word improvements is plural. You have be willing to make those little improvements if you want the BIG results. Each little improvement is a change.
Why do I bring this up? Many times I’m called into companies to “help”. I’m tasked with identifying ways to improve the business results. Very often there is resistance to change.
Let me state it simply. If you are not will to make changes, you will never see the results you want. Sure, you will have lucky streaks to make you feel you are going in the right direction but the same old problems will recur dragging you back to the bottom of your Sisyphean mountain. That “perfect storm” of missteps that cost you all that money? There’s another one coming. That manufacturing error that caused all those recalls? It will happen again.
The bottom line?
CHANGE is at the core of every improvement.
When you are done struggling, embrace change.
