Could It Happen in America?

Maybe I was wrong?
 
No, I don’t think so. Paul Potts wouldn’t win American Idol. He’s just not mainstream enough for the U.S. marketers.
 
But he won the contest he entered. He surprised everybody.
 
He won because the crowd couldn’t resist him. Because the crowd couldn’t resist him, the judges couldn’t resist him. Hell, I can’t resist him.
 
Paul is remarkable.
 
That’s something to strive for.
 
Have the courage to be different. Have the guts to sing opera when they expect pop.
