The first words translate, “no one sleeps” and the last word is “victory”. If you’ve got anything going for you mentally you can figure out the words in between. These days everybody seems to be asleep. This guy (in the opera) was smart. He got to keep his head too.
Pavarotti died today. He was severly criticized for the “Three Tenor” shows—which brought his music to millions who would have never heard him. The critics charged him with “lowering” opera. This piece is from one of those shows. Do you think it lowers opera?
If it moves you, you’ll know what to do while everyone else is sleeping. You’ll also know where it will take you. If you get it, I hope we’ll work together someday.
