I believe we can trace the decline in the American way of life to a decline in ethics. During times when we truly did good, we did well.

Since the turn of the century we experienced a rapid decline in ethics. Government became less accountable. Big business grew more greedy. Small business cut corners. We outsourced. We let Wall Street make trades on trades that they didn’t understand. We took on mortgages we couldn’t pay later.

Now we year for the good ole days before the bust.

But we are doing the same things that caused the problem in the first place.

Ethics matter. The sooner we realize that the sooner things will get better.
