I haven’t posted in a couple of weeks because I was away from my base on business for the government of New Mexico. (Thank you State of New Mexico! I enjoyed working with everyone.)

Thank you for checking in and thank you for the notes! Yes, I’m well and alive, just haven’t had time to write my posts.

I’d like to recommend a book.

This book isn’t a business book; it’s not even about business.

The book does however make many points I wish people in business would understand.

First, passion in business matters. Give your business (or task) passionate attention to detail and it will succeed.

Second, face adversity, don’t shrink from it.

There are many, many more interesting points made in this fascinating book and the story is fantastic. Ignore the public reviews. Trust me, this is no shallow piece of fiction. Many people who read this book didn’t get it. They expected a Toy Story and got Tolstoy. It’s deep. Please read the Story of Edgar Sawtelle.

Enjoy it.
