If you think a website is a static billboard to advertise your business, go back in time.

There’s a website that might scare the hell out of you. It’s a sort of web time machine. If your own site looks like the typical site of 1999, you’d better get to work on bringing it up to date.

Take a look at McDonalds.com from 1998 and you’ll see how much the web has changed.

Then look at some of your competitor’s sites. Who among those in your industry have sites closest to today’s standards? Hopefully it’s your business.

Websites are no longer computer billboards on the information superhighway. Your customers expect your website to be a service vehicle completely at their disposal.

I don’t know about you but I’ve got work to do.
