Something a lot of us do. We put off what we think is going to be bad news until it is too late be better than we expected news.
This happens in business all the time. I get an email that says, “the landlord wants me out by the end of the week and I have no sales. What can I do?”
Well, at that point, probably nothing. Cut the losses and close shop.
Had the email come a couple months ago we could probably salvage the business.
Why do we do this?
It’s normal. No one likes bad news. We think if we wait, the problem will go away. Sometimes we don’t know where to turn. In some cases, the fear is strong enough to cause paralysis.
Beat the fear and reach out. If we all work together, we can get things moving again.
