Merry Christmas? No! My Business Partner…

When a serious dispute hits a partnership, tensions rise. This makes it hard to sit down and have a face-to-face conversation. Putting that conversation off isn’t going to make things better. In fact, you may reach a point when talking is no longer an option.
If a business dispute arises and the other party refuses to communicate with you, what can you do? You must keep trying to open communication. Further, you must prepare to defend your position.
A strategy is often the biggest barrier to dispute resolution. When both parties start taking up positions for battle, battle follows. Before making a battle plan, make a peace plan.
I am often called upon to facilitate the resolution of business disputes. This is work I am good at and together we can generally reach some sort of agreement between parties.
Even without good partnership or corporate documents, you still have rights. I strongly encourage you, even if your frustration level has reached the breaking point, to get help with your dispute before things get into criminal territory.
